3 Million new iPad Tablets
Sales of new iPad for the first three days - from Friday, March 16 to Sunday March 18 amounted to 3,000,000 units - the company said in a official press release.

Chief of International Marketing Philip Schiller said that the iPad 3 launch was the most successful of all time.

The new iPad is almost double more selling of his predecessor iPad 2 and almost triple more selling from the first generation of iPad tablet. This is described below with the correct numbers.

3 Million new iPad Tablets

For comparison, the first iPad, which debuted in the U.S. in April 2010, has sold 300,000 units the first day. The next gadget model, according to analysts, has sold about 500,000 in the first weekend. However, the device was only available in the U.S. In the case of the third generation of the iPad, the company organized a mass start. The actual sales far exceeded the forecasts of experts who had expected that the first day will be sold up to 1 million gadgets.

We note that the statistics is confirmed from analysts' forecasts. Economists were expecting sales of about the same (up to 1 million new iPad on the first day). Device appeared on hit stores in 10 countries, but in 2 days, on March 23, Apple's new iPad creation will be available in other 24 countries.
