Can I unlock my iPhone without unlock activation tickets?

Well, the answer to this question is simple, and it’s a big NO! You can’t unlock your iPhone on any baseband if there aren’t any saved unlock activation ickets. It doesn’t matter if you unlocked your iPhone before with SAM, if you didn’t save the activation tickets at that time, you won’t be able to get the unlock.

I can’t unlock my iPhone, even though I have the activation tickets, what to do?

There are a lot of reasons that you aren’t able to unlock your iPhone even if you have saved the activation tickets. Some of the reasons are:

  • Your device might not be on the iOS 5.1.1 as this method is meant for the iOS 5.1.1!
  • The guide might not have been followed properly. Try again by following the guide which uses RedSn0w to upload the activation tickets.
  • This method is for the specific SIM card which was originally unlocked with SAM. You need to make sure that you use the specific SIM card which was originally used.

Can I unlock my iPhone by borrowing my friend’s activation tickets?

What should I do when I can’t find my saved unlock activation tickets?

The guide we showed you saved the activation tickets on an email, and that’s why you should search for them in your email. If the unlock activation tickets aren’t there, then you should search for them on your computer. A Lockdown.zip file would have been created on your computer or a .plist file would have been created if you saved them manually.

Is the method fake, if it doesn’t work?

The methods that we showed you, definitely work. If you are experiencing problems, then that must be because of some other reasons.

Would the methods will still work on the iOS 5.1.1 even if my baseband is 4.11.08/4.12.01 or (insert base number)?

Why doesn’t the method work even though I have saved the activation tickets and am on the iOS 5.1.1?

You might not be following the guide properly, or you might be on a preserved baseband. Use RedSn0w or PwnageTool 5.1.1 (Mac) or Snowbreeze (Windows).

Am I safe, as I have unlocked my iPhone on the iOS 5.1.1 with the saved activation tickets?

Yes, you are safe for now. The Apple WWDC is about to be held and the iOS 6 will be coming out soon. That’s why it is advised that you not update to the iOS 6 when it’s released before it’s confirmed that SAM unlock works on the new iOS.
