Jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 With Safari

Following the recent surprise release of semi-tethered/untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.3 firmware, Totoateam has done packing for it in a way that users can install it from the device directly using the Safari browser, without needing any computer. It somewhat works in the same fashion as the JailbreakMe hack by Comex in the past.

Steps to Jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 Using Safari Browser

Since the tool is based on Pangu, it is compatible with the devices that Pangu team’s tool is compatible with, which includes all 64-bit devices on iOS 9.3.3 to 9.2. Here’s how you can jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 with Safari without a PC:

Step 1: Update your device to iOS 9.3.3. Download IPSW files. Make a full backup with iCloud or iTunes. Erase any Touch ID or passcode, and disable Find my iPhone before proceeding with the jailbreak on iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad and go to this link.

Step 3: Tap “Install App”, click “Install’ when shown, and wait for the PP app to be installed.

Step 6: Tap the big circle, and after the process begins, tap sleep/power button to lock the phone while you’re within the PP app.

Step 7: Then you’ll receive a notification that the device was jailbroken. After you unlock it, you’ll find yourself in PP again. Cydia’s preparation will begin, and after the device reboots, you’ll have Cydia on your phone.

Update #1: Did you got the PPJailbreak Could Not Be Installed At This Time error? This is because Apple has blocked the certificate used to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 via Safari. We recommend you to use the Windows tool to jailbreak your device. Follow our full jailbreak tutorial here.

Just remember, you have to re-run the PP app every time you reboot the device, as this is a semi-tethered/untethered jailbreak. Enjoy and feel free to leave comments.
