    Ticket SAM works on 6.1?:

  • Edd

What is your opinion of the 04.11.08 and higher basebands?
Is there going to be unlock with SIM interposer or software unlock?

Is that even possible or something that we can forgot about?

I think that the only solution is factory unlocking (which is way too much expensive for some carriers), not because hackers can’t unlock it, but because they don’t want to.

Hello everyone! I have jailbroken my iphone 3gs with evasi0n. Now as you may know i have the “no service” issue. Well… I read all this and found out that this ultrasn0w fixer for ios 6.1 is not compatible with baseband 05.16.08 which is the one on my iphone so my question is: I there going to be an ultrasn0w fixer version compatible with this baseband? Is there anything I can do meanwhile? Thank you very much for your time.

  • Bruno

hi, i have iphone 4 ios 6.1 fimware 04.12.05 but this process can unlock my device.. help me please..

  • RR

Try downgrading BB from 6.15.00 to 15.13.4 using redsn0w_win_0.9.13dev4, then create IPSW thru sn0wbreeze-v2.9.9 for iOS 6.1, then install ultrasn0w 1.2.8, and you will not have to wait for the signal to come on. After reboot you’ll see the signal in sec. BTW, I am using iPhone 3GS/iOS 5.1.1/BB 6.15.00 (Before), iPhone 3GS/iOS 6.1/BB 15.13.4

  • UnlockBoot

No. You need gevey sim or the best way is factory unlocking.

  • UnlockBoot

You can’t unlock 4S with Ultrasn0w fixer. Your phone can be unlocked with factory unlock.

  • Saulo Benigno

Same for me… Same iOS. Same phone

  • Rob Thompson

use the latest version on redsn0w then click on extras then click on even more then click on where it says tickets: put back saved activation tickets, then you will be able to navigate to where your saved activation ticket/lockdown folder is on your computer & be able to place it onto your phone!
then reboot/power off your phone then your activation ticket will work!

My Horrible Experiences Jailbreaking and Unlocking iPhone

You will need a handful of programs here. The most important
thing is that you do it in this exact order!

This is assuming you don’t have a factory unlock and need to
unlock it specifically for your sim card.

Step 1: Update and Restore iPhone using Apple official

Step 2: Using 6.0.1 restore manually specified in Redsnow,
Jailbreak. Be sure to flash to 6.15 baseband(Backup your SSHS in Tiny Umbrella
if you’re worried about losing it)

Step 3: “Just Boot” and get Cydia all updated. Everything it
tells you to do you do.

Step 4: Is your iPhone working great as it is? Yes, even
though it’s tethered, is it working stable? Can you consistently “Just Boot”
and have it work? If yes, continue to step 5. If not repeat step 2-4 until it

Step 5: Okay now it’s time to install Envisi0n. Super easy
process. Use version 1.4. Let it sit, follow instructions exactly as it says.
Don’t play with it until it tells you too. You’ll think it’s a glitch when it
asks you to hit the icon on your iphone and it flashes. No it isn’t a glitch.
Once is enough! Once envisi0n says it’s all done, if your iPhone doesn’t automatically restart, hold down the power button and slide to turn off. Then turn it back on as you normally would.

Step 6: Now that Envisi0n is installed, go into Cydia and
search for “Mobile Substrate”. Install it. Great.

Step 7: Now add in your Cydia repo by
    hitting “Manage”>”Sources”>Edit>Add

Step 8: Now go to packages, hit the repo you just added and
install untrasn0w 1.2.8. Restart your phone and you’re good to go!

If envisi0n says it’s a bad idea to jailbreak it, ignore it.

If envisi0n tells your phone has a backup password on it and
greys out no password, delete any APN profiles you have installed.

    I hope this helps!

I have iphone 3GS with 05.13.04. Can I upgrade to i0s 6.1.2 and jailbreak by preserving baseband with latest Sn0wbreeze 2.9.10 and unlock using ultrasnow.?

  • Joe Paranoia

I have an iphone 3gs ios 6.1 and baseband 06.15.00 with evasi0n jailbreak and dont work: “No Service”.

  • Sunny2010

    Iphone 4 BB 01.59.00 IOS 6.1.2

Found by Google. you have only one Service bar but it works.

I had the same problem as
many of you. I have an iPhone 4 on preserved baseband 01.59.00. I used
    sn0wbreeze 2.9.10 / 2.9.11 to jailbreak 6.1.2 and preserve baseband.
Immediately after jailbreak success, I found out that my signal is
cycling between “searching / 1 bar / no service” every minute which
essentially makes the phone useless for calling or 3G data. The no
service cycling error does not seem to have anything to do with
ultrasn0w since at this point I have not even installed it. I tried
with activation / no activation / baseband preseve only + evasi0n
separately without any success. I must have tried for hours, with many
    different combinations.

Installing ultrasn0w 1.2.8 will cause my phone to have no service all
    the time so I think 1.2.8 + iphone 4 + 01.59.00 + 1.2 has some issue.

However I did manage to get the cycle between “searching / 1 bar / no
service” every minute to stop and now I’m left with 1 bar (all the
time) without installing ultrasn0w. For those whose phone is locked to
another carrier you probably need to wait for new ultrasn0w but the
procedure I have below worked for me.
edit: I only tried on a fresh install of 6.1.2 with sn0wbreeze, i4

    1) Get the latest version of redsn0w – 0.9.15b3.
    2) Get the iphone 4 6.0 firmware iPhone3,1_6.0_10A403_Restore.ipsw (this is the latest supported by redsn0w for now)
    3) Go into redsn0w, go to ‘extras’ select “select IPSW” and pick the 6.0 firmware
    4) Go back to main menu, select jailbreak and perform a tethered jailbreak.
    5) After its done, the phone should still be untethered but I find that the cycling is gone.

This should hopefully get your phone somewhat usable until there is a ultrasn0w fix for the 6.1.2 / 01.59.00 combination.

I don’t really know why it works but I got desperate so it was worth a
shot for you. I’ve used it for the past 2 hours and the phone no
    longer goes into “no service”

edit: Seems like if I restore from backup the problem occurs again.
I’m not able to pinpoint what the portion of the restore is breaking it
(settings, apps, etc.). Last night after I thought it worked (2
hours)I tried to restore all my old settings and apps and then the
signal problem came back. If I run the jailbreak procedure above after I
restore it will fail and the phone goes into restore loop. If I begin
all over again then it’ll work again – its just that I can’t restore
    from backup.
