Four information are usually shown on this screen, followed by the device name, model and type on top. For example, if your device is a iPhone 6S Plus, the top section would show iPhone 6S Plus and the IMEI number underneath this title.

The section that follows contains information like – whether the device is registered with Apple’s website, whether the telephone support provided for the customers is still alive for the specific product, the status of the repair and service coverage and if an AppleCare Protection Plan had been purchased for the device, and the status of AppleCare Protection Plan if one exists.

If the telephone support expires, customers still get to contact Apple Support by clicking the exact button located at the right. To make an appointment for repairs, the exact same location underneath the previous button holds the ‘Set Up a Repair’ button. To extend AppleCare Protection plan, user could just click on the ‘Extend Coverage’ button (available for some devices).

AppleCare Protection Plan isn’t free, but if your devices go to a lot of places with you and is used quite roughly, then you should probably spend some bucks for the official care plan. AppleCare Protection Plan costs $202 for 13 inch MacBooks and below, and $65 for iPad.
