Fines For Texting While Walking In US Town — we've all joked with regards to folks who text while walking.

But now as a result of a rise in jaywalking along with more than twenty incidents of cars hitting people on the streets, NJ police are clamping down on those text messaging while walking.

Fort Lee Police Chief Thomas Ripoli says:

“It’s a big distraction. Pedestrians aren't watching where they’re going. They’re not aware.”

If you are planning to do that, you can’t complain too much. This is just one more strategy to squeeze money from people? What do you think?
